When it comes to protecting high-volume public venues—like schools, major sporting events, convention centre’s, and future global gatherings like the Brisbane Olympic Games—you need security solutions that are not only effective but fast, flexible, and easy to deploy. The CEIA OPENGATE is setting a new industry standard in weapons detection technology—and it’s now available through Tactical Solutions Australia.
What Sets the CEIA OPENGATE Apart?
The OPENGATE is the world’s first fully open, high-throughput weapons detection system, offering unmatched efficiency without compromising security. It’s ideal for screening people with their bags, backpacks, and purses—no divesting required, no invasive searches, and no bottlenecks.
Key Benefits:
- ✅ Ultra-Fast Throughput: Seamless flow of pedestrian traffic with near-zero false alarms.
- ✅ No Setup Fuss: Under 1-minute setup with no tools, no wiring, no technician needed.
- ✅ App-Based Fleet Control: Adjust security levels in real time via an easy-to-use iOS/Android app.
- ✅ Multi-Threat Detection: Detects a wide range of metal threats including multi-caliber firearms and IEDs.
- ✅ Fully Portable: Lightweight (just 11–15 kg per unit), battery-powered, and built for rapid relocation.
- ✅ All-Weather Operation: Engineered for indoor and outdoor use—no shelter needed.
- ✅ Compliant & Safe: Meets all international safety standards and is safe for pacemaker wearers.
Perfect for High-Volume, High-Security Environments
Whether you’re protecting a school campus, music festival, or Olympic stadium, the OPENGATE delivers. It’s already a trusted solution at:
- Stadiums and sporting venues
- Theme parks and museums
- Convention centres and exhibition halls
- Transportation hubs and airports
- Emergency evacuation points
- Temporary or mobile screening setups
Fleet Control at Your Fingertips
One of OPENGATE’s most powerful features is its smartphone-based control system. Using the CEIA OPENGATE App, security managers can:
- Adjust sensitivity levels across multiple units simultaneously
- Monitor system health and battery status
- Instantly adapt to increased threat levels or changing environments
This flexibility is crucial for dynamic events like major sporting tournaments or global summits, where crowd size and risk levels can fluctuate.
Designed for Speed. Built for Security.
In high-traffic environments, traditional metal detectors slow down queues and cause friction for attendees and staff. OPENGATE eliminates those frustrations with:
- Fully open design (no overhead arch or mechanical connectors)
- Clear acoustic and visual alerts
- Integrated pedestrian counters
- Minimal training required
This means more people screened per hour—with higher accuracy and less disruption.
